There is so much going on at Newbury Court that you will wish you had more hours in the day! The program staff arranges an extensive variety of programs to suit all tastes and needs. Regularly scheduled events at Newbury Court include:

  • Music : Piano soloists, quartets, classical, jazz, bluegrass, folk, American Songbook, vocalists, sing-alongs, student recitals perform on campus. Trips to Concord Chorus, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Concord Chamber Music Society, Performing Arts Center at 51 Walden Street

  • Movies/DVDs : popular, vintage, foreign, Opera, Learning Company series

  • Stimulating Lectures by Residents and Invited Speakers: Careers, Literature, Art History, Natural Science, History, Travel, Health and Wellness topics, Authors

Tuesday, August 25th, 3:30 PM — Alan Yost with the Carlisle Chamber Orchestra members. String Trio and Flute-- Haydn London Trios #1 and #3 and two Mozart Flute Quartets.

Friday, September 4th, 3:00 PM — Brad Ellenberg Sextet-Great American Songbook with vocals. 

Tuesday, September 8th, 3:00 PM — Richard Sebring and Charles Overton. Selections for the horn and harp.

Friday, September 11th, 3:00 PM — Bonnie Anderson and Stella Owens-dual pianos.—upbeat rags, spirituals, and beautiful melodies.

Thursday, September 17th,3:00 PM — Susan Cattaneo Solo Vocals.

Saturday, September 19th, 2:00 PM — Middlesex Volunteers Fifes and Drums (tentative) They will walk around the building as they have done before. Reservations accepted if you would like to sit under tent or patio. 

Sunday September 20th, 3:00 PM and a cello/violin duo on Sunday September 13th at 3:00 PM
